Healing the Sick was major part of Jesus’ ministry. He spent three years teaching the people that Healing was and is a part of God’s plan. Isaiah 53:4,5 specifies that Jesus, “bore our griefs (sicknesses) and carried our sorrows (pains) and by His stripes (beatings) we Are Healed.”

Everyone who came to Jesus in Faith were Healed. A very prominent verse that is recorded in scripture is the true story of the Woman who had a blood disease for 12 years. Jesus tells us in His word that she “spent all she had” on doctors, but did not get better, in fact she “grew worse.” This same woman heard Jesus was coming to her area, and made a life changing decision, she expressed her Faith powerfully in her own words, “after hearing about Jesus, she came up in the crowd behind Him and touched His robe, for she said, “If I just touch His garments, I will get well.”

Immediately the flow of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was Healed of her affliction.

Immediately Jesus, perceiving in Himself that the power flowed out of His body, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched my clothes?” And His disciples said to Him, “You see the crowd pressing in on You, and You say, “Who touched Me?” And He looked around to see the Woman who had done this. But the woman fearing and trembling, aware of what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “DAUGHTER, YOUR FAITH has made you Well; go in Peace and be Healed of your affliction.” Mark 5:25-34.

The Bible says that God is not a respecter of persons, (Acts 10:34) meaning He does not favor one person over another. “For God so Loved the World…” He sent His Son Jesus for All. And All throughout the Bible, OT and NT, we see a Loving, Merciful, and Powerful Healing God. And since Jesus went to the Cross, and Paid for our sins, And Healed All our diseases, we can benefit from His Promises, and all it takes is someone, anyone, to Believe what He has Done. As the scriptures teach, “All things are Possible to those who Believe.”

You will also hear encouraging True testimonies of not only her own healings, but also the miracle power of God for her family and others, including members of Ponce Church, and praying for the sick in homes and local hospitals as a chaplain. You’ll also hear the personal testimonies of others and how the Lord healed them and members of their families. Both the Word of God, and the testimonies of others, helps to encourage us, and build our Faith.

Pastor Nina will also teach the Bible regarding Faith, and the power of prayer and what Jesus says regarding these two biblical principals.

Isaiah 53 – God’s Complete Redemption including Healing and Forgiveness of sin.

Matthew 8:17 – Jesus heals All the sick that were laid in the Street, and how Matthew quotes the prophet Isaiah in reference to Jesus who “bore our sicknesses and carried our pains.”

1 Peter 2:24, Psalm 103:3, Exodus 15:26

The Lord Promises to both Heal the Brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3) and Heal the sick. “I am the LORD who Heals You.” Exodus 15:26.
